Fiji is a wonderful place to have your vacation at and here are a few facts about this tropical paradise that might make your Fiji holidays a lot better.

Best beach in Fiji
The best beach on Viti Levu and perhaps the whole of Fiji is Natadola Beach. This beach is located about 40 minutes from the Nadi International Airport and it is said to be the best looking beach on Viti Levu and a lot of tourists have said so. Natadola Beach is about 2 kilometers in length and the water here is perfect for swimming and some body-surfing.
The sand on the beaches of Fiji are so white because of the natural grinding down of the dead corals. In locations where there are no fringing coral reefs the sand shows off a more golden shade and the locations nearer to volcanoes tend to show off a much darker shade and sometimes they even look black. This is because of the grinding down of the volcanic rock or sediments along the shores.
Climate and weather
The rainy season in Fiji occurs during the summer months, which is from November to March. The average temperature in Fiji is about 88ºF or 31ºC during the summer months. During the winter months the temperature is about 84ºF or 29ºC. Cyclones rarely occur in Fiji but when they do the cyclone season starts from November and ends in April.
Fiji experiences a tropical climate so it has warm and dry winter seasons and hot and wet summer seasons. During the winter season the temperature is still quite warm during the day and it could even go up to 31ºC. Although, when night comes the evening breeze can be very chilling so better to wrap yourself with a light blanket or shawl when you are out at night.
